“A Pakistani karate champion who saved the lives of 14 people in the Nov. 25 flashfloods before drowning while trying to save another is one of the many unsung heroes of that fateful morning.”

Karate people (martial artists in general) seem to spend a lot of time talking/being asked about how many people they could take in a fight, or how quickly they could kill someone. The individual in this story is a fine reminder of  another question that is less commonly asked- how many people can we help?
